I can't even believe I am typing this but as you are reading I will just be arriving in Paris from London :) I just wanted to check in and wish you all a wonderful weekend! I'm sure I will have plenty of photos & stories to tell when I get back. For now, my internet access is limited so I don't have the chance to upload my own personal photos quite yet ... can't wait to share them with you soon.

Hi Nancy, I'm so envious you are in my dream city! We had a wonderful dinner at Fin et Maree one evening, that's one of the only names I remember. I want to go back on a decorating tour next time I go! Enjoy every second and wishing you safe travels.

Unfortunately as you certainly noticed the weither is quite bad (rain in july!). And it seems that it will be worse this weekend :(

Oh Nancy, enjoy every minute of Paris! One tip for you: Go to Galeries Lafayette on Boulevard Hausmann and take the escalator to the very top floor. There is an outdoor cafe there that has the best free view of the city. Please enjoy un cafe au lait pour moi while you're there!
Omgosh Nancy have the most wonderful trip celebrating your doctorate with your family. Enjoy every single minute. I will be thinking of you sipping a cappuccino on a sidewalk cafe eating a croissant.

Give Pierre Hermes Macarons a try whilst too whilst you are there, they are incredible there are quite a few stores scattered around Paris!

One more thing Nancy - you MUST stop into Mariage Freres for tea. It is the most wonderful tea in the world. Marco Polo is my favourite.
