The home of Kelly Bensimon via Mainstreet Chic
NYC Real Housewife Kelly Bensimon has several Hermes pillows on her sectional, she mentioned that she loves having 2 different scarves sewn together so that she can flip the pillows and have a whole new look on a whim. My favorite thing about these "scarves-turned-pillows" is their huge size!

This photo below made the rounds in the blogosphere; I adore the look of a grouping of frames:
I spotted a fabulous DIY idea over at little lovely showing how you can get the look of framed Hermes scarves at a fraction of the price! The book 'The Hermes Scarf' displays 292 color illustrations of their fab scarves! You can purchase this book for a mere $60 on Amazon and scan or cut out your favorites to have framed. Here's the example from little lovely ....
I love this idea! And you can't beat that price for pretty artwork ... and at $400 a pop, a grouping of real-deal scarves would definitely add up :) I think I'm going to have to order that book!

Oh I'm so sold!! I'll start scouring concession shops straight away! (or my moms closet...) the illustrations are a pretty cool idea too except they would need to be life size :)
Nice blog, I'm a new follower right now ;)

I had not seen a few pictures of these and the last picture with the pink theme and 6 scarves is amazing! I love the pillows too! You know I was thinking, that was a great point when you said $400 for art is not bad some people pay that for a print. At least you can use the scarf later!
Love Hermes, love the scarves both framed and as pillows. This idea with the book is fabulous! Thanks!
oh i love these...
Love framed scarves of any designer, but the Hermes ones are just so chic. Framing the book pages is a fab idea!!

Fabulous idea! I LOVE Hermes scarves. I remember fawning over them when we were in Paris at a shop but the PRICE! This is much more friendlier on the pocket book!

They are so detailed, but at the same time light and whimsical to me. I love every last one.
Great idea and great round up of inspiration - thanks for sharing!
What a fabulous idea!!! I must go through some of my mom's old scarves ...... they aren't Hermes but they are really pretty. I love Kelly from the Real Housewives. She's a cooky girl but here pillows are to die for.
Love this idea :)
Framed silk scarves are so chic! I have been hunting for affordable vintage scarves for a while now to frame! Ive found that Etsy has some good finds and Veera is a pretty affordable vintage brand of silk scarves!
